Seasons of Change...

It is true - to everything there is a season, and they are changing a bit for me now. I am writing this with much excitment about starting something new, but also with a little sadness at leaving a piece behind.

I have decided the time has come for me to stop creating and selling hair accessories. There are many factors that have gone into my decision, but the biggest one is that the love isn't in my heart these days. So, I am keeping just a yard or two here and there of some ribbons - just to make more bows for my princess (who probably will not be wearing bows for much longer *sniff*) and I am going to sell off the rest of EVERYTHING!!!!

I am going to focus more of my time into my love of my camera and photography, and also continue to grow and improve in my skills with the graphic and web design ;)

So there will be lots of changes and things will begin to look differently around here very soon!! I will be revamping the blog, the website, my logos... pretty much everything online!!

I am slowly organizing the ribbon into lots to post FOR SALE - it is going to be a bit of a process as I have been collecting these things for 4.5 years! If you know of any bowmakers that need ANY supplies - give me a shout! I just may have what they need!

I have only managed to get pics of a few lots right now - but check out my FOR SALE album if you are interested! I will be adding more on Monday and Tuesday!

A sweet customer of mine asked me to create these bows for her twin daughters... they are getting a little old for traditional bows - they love the pony tail streamers.. so this is a combination of them! I am calling them

"Bow*Tails"

I would really LOVE to hear some feedback on these!! I am torn about them - they are difficult to photograph.. but I think they look darling on my cutie! Not sure if I should carry a line of these?

Turkey Day!!!

Hope everyone had a Fabulous Thanksgiving day! Ours was wonderful... spent with family, friends, and LOTS of good food!!!

Can you believe that I had my camera... the battery was charged...nothing wrong with it.. and I didn't take one SINGLE picture??!!! Bad, Bad me!!!!

Ok, well I do have one picture... B took a quick pic of me and the kiddos before we left... I need to edit it!! I will add that to the ever-so-long "to-do" list!!! :o)

Bow FACTORY!!

This week is Fall break... so I will be entertaining children (read::being a referee) until the hubby gets home... and after dinner and baths... I will be turning myself into a custom-finishing-bow-making-machine!

Want to make a bet on how many bows I can get finished tonight? (It takes me about 1-1.5 hours to make one, but I can work on about 3 at a time usually- or until I run out of space on my tiny little table.. LOL!)

I am going to get caught up on all of my customs and hopefully I will be able to start on some NEW things SOOOON!!!

Friday Night Lights

Last night we went to the high school football game. The high school cheerleaders led a cheer camp for the jr pro cheerleaders at the end of the summer, and one of the parts of the camp was that the little girls got to cheer one quarter of the high school game last night.

We had a great time! My hometown is just like Varsity Blues when it comes to Football! (Minus the abusive coach!)

The girls all had a great time cheering with the big girls, and it was a GREAT game! We were down 20-10 going into the 4th quarter... and then we scored 2 TD's to win 24-20!!!

10 years ago I was 2 months away from meeting my future husband! I had finished my first year living away from home at college...and, well, I was living it up like most 21 year olds do!!

Its been awhile!!!

Ok, ok.. so I Stink at keeping up with blogging!

Is it too late to make a New Year's resolution?? How about a Mid Year resolution?? =)

I was tagged... (ok, it was last month.. but why not catch up now?? *snicker*) by Amy! This is my first "tagging" so here goes!

6 Unimportant things about myself:

1. I have a thing with Dates... not as it Dating.. as in dates on a calendar. I can remember really obscure dates, that have little to no relevance... Dates from events when I was a child, high school... things from when B and I first got married..and yet, I can't remember what I did last week!

2. I am addicted to shows on MTV... Laguna Beach, the Hills, the Real World.. Its a sickness!

3. I like body piercings.. I don't really have any - well I have 4 holes in one ear, 3 in the other, and a navel piercing... BUT...I would have a tiny stud in my nose if I didn't work at the hospital :) I dont like millions of them, I don't like them all over the face.. but I think an eyebrow ring or tiny nose ring looks really cute on some people!!

4. I am not a fan of fish. I do not enjoy swimming with them (no lakes or oceans for me!). I do not enjoy eating anything that has lived its life in water. Period. (I will look at them in aquariums.. but that is as far as it goes!)

5. I hate calling people I don't know on the phone. I do not like having to call the repairman, the cable company, pretty much anyone that I don't talk to regularly!

6. I would LOVE.... I mean really L.O.V.E. to jump out of an airplane! I have always wanted to go skydiving... and I will do that one day!!!

I will have to think on the 6 people to tag.... I am still new to this!!!
